For two cells with a sum of 3, the digits must be 1 and 2, in some order. The crossing clues tell you which digit goes where.

| 7 across | 3 | 4 |
Rule reference: Nikoli’s Kakuro rules. These four grids and their layouts are original to Puzzku.
Each sheet has one 5 × 5 grid with twelve white cells and large writing spaces. The other cells hold sums or separate runs. Give everyone the same puzzle ID for a group discussion, or use the picker to hand out a shorter selection.
Match puzzle and answer sheets by K-01 through K-04. Changing paper size does not change the answer. A small grid is a format choice, not a tested difficulty or age rating.
Choose one to four puzzle IDs, their order, and the paper size. This picker uses the fixed collection of 4 puzzles; it does not create an unlimited supply. Moving past the last ID wraps to the first.
Selected IDs: K-01, K-02, K-03, K-04. Answers use the same IDs.
Loading the sheet picker…
The upper-right number is the sum of the white cells to its right. The lower-left number is the sum of the white cells below it. A run stops at a dark cell or the edge of the grid.
Use digits 1 through 9 only. Do not repeat a digit inside one across run or one down run. The same digit may appear elsewhere when it belongs to different runs.
Yes. All four published grids are checked for exactly one solution using the sums and the no-repeat rule. Their solving time and difficulty have not been calibrated.
No. This is a fixed collection of four original 5 by 5 grids, each containing twelve white cells. The picker changes which sheets you print, their order, and their paper size.
Sudoku uses number placement, while nonograms reveal a picture from run-length clues. Browse all printable puzzle types.
